Gauth uses AI to provide homework help in math and science topics, including chemistry, physics, calculus, and more. Under the menu topic - Subjects, you will also find help with Literature, Writing, Social Science, and others. To begin, upload a question or an image. Gauth then provides a step-by-step response with a detailed explanation of the answer. Find additional explanations by selecting Copilot, which is built into Gauth's platform, or by choosing from suggestions for related questions. You don't need to register, but doing so will allow access to your search history.
In the Classroom
Include Gauth with your other math and science support resources for students. Demonstrate how to ask questions and analyze the responses as a learning tool. Be sure to discuss the ethical use of AI tools with students as a learning tool and not a substitute for completing assignments. Encourage students to provide proper attribution when using Gauth. Share Gauth as a flipped learning tool for students to use as they begin to understand new concepts, then ask students to apply that knowledge to problems without using AI resources. Numerade STEM Bootcamps provide free, interactive video lessons in STEM subjects like algebra, physics, and chemistry. The platform includes Bootcamps with step-by-step video tutorials, practice problems, and quizzes designed to enhance students' understanding. You can access a variety of topics for different grade levels and standardized tests like the ACT and SAT. The videos have captions available for students who may need them. Videos do have discussions under them, so be mindful of this if are having students use them independently.
In the Classroom
Flip your classroom and have students watch Numerade Bootcamp videos at home to learn foundational concepts before class. They then can apply their learning through in-class lessons. Have students create and take practice quizzes based on Numerade's standardized test prep Bootcamps using a program like Quizlet, reviewed here. This will engage them in active test prep, enhance recall through repeated practice, and extend readiness for exams. Have students summarize a Numerade bootcamp topic by creating short review videos with Padlet, reviewed here, helping their classmates understand key points from the videos. Scroll down to find filters to sort the content by media types, categories, and newer or older additions. The media types category allows users to find lesson plans, collections, teacher guides, and more. Each lesson plan includes detailed instructions, student handouts, and correlation to Next Generation Science Standards.
In the Classroom
Enjoy the interactives, videos, and text on an interactive whiteboard or projector. Use selected activities as a center (station). Share the included articles and videos with students to supplement your STEM curriculum. Plix (Play, Learn, Interact, and eXplore) shares over 1,000 interactives, providing practice and exploring math and science concepts. Math topics range from adding whole numbers to calculus concepts; science content includes biology, physics, earth, and life science, among others. Follow the directions found in each interactive to move the slider to show changes in each story problem or question. Plix integrates with several learning management systems, including Google Classroom, Schoology, and Canvas. Share Plix activities by creating a new class on the Plix site or assigning it to your learning management system.
In the Classroom
Use Plix interactives as warm-up activities when teaching new concepts, as a computer center activity, or as an exploration activity for homework. If you are not using a learning management system, use the three dots located on the top bar to find different share options and embed code to use on websites. After providing exploration time, ask students to share their understanding of the content in the using Padlet, reviewed here. This is a link to Padlet's Help section for posting video or an image. Sizzle is a resource that provides help for math and science using artificial intelligence (AI) features. Enter problems in several different ways to receive step-by-step help in solving problems. Type the problem into the chat, upload a picture (word and number problems), or scan the problem with your phone. After defining the problem, Sizzle leads users through each step before sharing the next step to complete. Answer each step in the chat, ask to see choices, or reveal the next step. When viewing options for solving each step, Sizzle provides tips for correct solutions if the incorrect response is chosen. While registration is optional, creating an account allows users to access their history of solved problems. Sizzle is available online and as an app from Apple and Google Play.
In the Classroom
Share Sizzle with students to use as a homework aid at home, or work on problems together by sharing Sizzle on your whiteboard. Ask students to take screenshots on their device or use Awesome ScreenShot, reviewed here to share problems that they don't understand or had difficulty completing to discuss during class. Register for an account and take advantage of the history feature to share problems completed during previous activities to use as a reference for solving problems that incorporate similar concepts. 3 Act Math shares problems to complete 3 Act Math tasks for grades 4 - high school students, including geometry, algebra 2, statistics, and calculus. 3 Act Math tasks consist of three parts - an engaging and perplexing problem to spark curiosity, collecting data and solving the problem, and the teacher revealing the answer to the problem and reflecting upon student activities. After selecting and opening the problem, each activity shares resources such as videos broken down by acts. All materials are available to download as a single Google file and are correlated to Common Core Standards. Learn more about 3 Act Math by taking the free workshop on this site, including links to additional lessons for grades K and up. If your district blocks YouTube, then the videos may not be viewable.
In the Classroom
Introduce 3 Act Math into any math classroom as an engaging way for students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills. When introducing 3-Act Math activities, use Google Slides, reviewed here as a visual tool to reinforce the concept of the tasks. Create a three-slide presentation with a slide for each act that includes the video, questions, or supporting images used for the task. For younger students, ask them to share their responses and ideas and add that information to your presentation. For older students, add a slide for each student or group to share their responses. Extend learning by asking students to share reflections on the activity, including discussions of their predictions - what worked, what didn't, and how they made adjustments throughout the activity. Share those reflections as part of your original slide presentation, or ask students to use a video creation tool like moovly, reviewed here to share their problem-solving steps.

Skew the Script provides AP Statistics and Algebra 1 and 2 free Creative Commons-based math lessons. The lessons are created using math in relevant contexts, such as the cost of college, the economic viability of electric cars, and how much income social influences make. Each lesson includes links to supporting materials, including videos, handouts, slide presentations, and alignment to standards and/or textbooks. Although registration isn't required to access all of the site's materials, it is recommended to allow unlimited access to all materials.
In the Classroom
Take advantage of the many lessons and teaching materials provided by Skew the Script to find lessons and supplemental materials for use in math classrooms. Include the lessons as an engaging way to show students how these mathematical concepts relate to everyday life. Differentiate activities based on students' interests and abilities. For example, provide advanced students with supplemental activities that feature advanced concepts or use lessons to review previously learned materials. K20 Games offers over a dozen games encouraging critical thinking skills through game-based learning. Games place students in the role of decision-makers in real-world situations. Examples of games include Aware, which puts the student as an emergency manager in a region plagued with emergency disasters, and Paper Trail. This game asks students to consider how to behave in a morally corrupt business community. To access the games as an educator, select the Request Games link and complete the required information to receive an invitation code. Receipt of the code typically takes 24-48 hours. After receiving the code, follow the directions in your email response to create an account. Create a class, then select games to assign to your students. Each selected game includes teaching materials and a sample lesson plan. Share the provided invitation key with students to access and play games.
In the Classroom
Learn more about how to use the K20 game portal by viewing instructional videos provided on the K20 playlist found here. Include financial literacy games in your classroom to engage students in discussing finances, statistics, and decision-making using real-life scenarios. Ask students to compare and contrast their decisions as they play the games, share discussions on Gravity, reviewed here, and encourage students to provide feedback to peers on the consequences and benefits of their game decisions. The Achievery is a free digital learning platform created by AT&T in collaboration with Warner Brothers that pairs video clips with lessons to engage students in learning across seven subject areas. Create an account to access activities such as a poetry scavenger hunt with Amanda Gorman or learn reading and writing skills from Wonder Woman video clips. Begin at the "All Units" link to find content by grade level, standards, subject, and additional filters. Most lessons are part of a larger learning unit; however, they are ready to use as individual teaching activities. Each lesson includes correlations to teaching and CASEL standards (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning), highlights relevant vocabulary, activity directions, and links to the featured video, and is available in PDF format. The Achievery lessons and activities are available in English and Spanish. This site would be a good one to leave for your substitute to use; it's high interest, no sign-in, and has lesson plans & video clips.

Bookmark and save this site as a resource for lessons in many content areas to engage students using popular video clips. All lessons are created as remote learning activities making them easily adaptable for both in-class and out-of-class assignments. Easily find activities to differentiate instruction for different student ability levels by browsing options below or above the student's current grade level. Georgia Virtual Learning is the online education headquarters for the Georgia Department of Education and offers over 100 virtual courses for middle and high school students. Choose from studies in all core content areas and the fine arts and world languages. An additional option features courses in CTAE/Electives. These offerings include classes in finance, computer science, fitness, and more. After selecting a course to view, use the module to proceed through the contents. Each module includes an introduction featuring essential questions and interactive content and concludes with final assessments and a module test.
In the Classroom
Bookmark and save this site as a supplemental resource for your current lessons, as a resource for students to learn about subjects not covered in their current courses, and to differentiate learning for students. For example, provide remediation to high school students by sharing the 9th or 10th-grade literature and composition courses as a review activity or enhance your British Literature unit by assigning a module that focuses specifically on 17th, 18th, or 19th-century British literature. Quickly create math practice questions that provide instant feedback with helpful explanations using Edia. Edia's database includes an extensive list of questions to use. First, select questions, add time limits, due dates, and more. After assigning questions to groups of students, Edia rearranges the question order for each student to prevent sharing answers. Also, this site includes a unique background that prevents students from using the PhotoMath app to read and answer questions. After creating an account, begin by selecting to create a quiz or practice. Next, create a class or import students from Google Classroom. Continue by personalizing options, including the post date, due date, and allowing late submissions. Next, choose the "Add question" link to find and add questions, continue until a sufficient number of questions are included. Choose "Post Now" to create a shareable link to provide to students. Students sign in using a Google account or create an email and password account.

Use Edia to create, share, and differentiate math practice questions with students. Create practice sheets for students on the fly as you assess understanding of concepts or review previously learned material. If parents ask for additional support for their students, create individual practice on the necessary skills. Put down the pencil and paper and bring algebra to life with Graspable Math. Use the site's activities, or open the whiteboard to create algebra expressions. Use visual gestures to drag or tap parts of the expression and move to the other side of the equation. Follow the directions to move multiple terms with one move. Use the dropdown boxes within the workspace to add videos, insert commonly-used formulas, and share with students. Take advantage of Graspable Math's tutorial videos to learn more about the many features available with this site. Creating an account isn't required; however, it allows members to save and share boards. Share boards within Google Classroom, by email, embed into a website, or use the unique URL provided.

Not all whiteboards are alike; this collaborative whiteboard is designed specifically for math instruction. Built into the whiteboard is a graphing calculator, a computer algebra system, a math keyboard, and much more. Be sure to look at the example whiteboards that highlight many of the available offerings. As you begin creating your first whiteboard, Math Whiteboard shares tutorials that explain each of the tools. Collaborate with others by sharing the link of your board.
In the Classroom
Use the Math Whiteboard to easily share and demonstrate math instruction both in-person and during remote lessons. Add additional pages to any whiteboard to assign students or groups of students to demonstrate their work. Create a collaborative whiteboard for use when providing additional instruction or support with groups of students. Share this site with students to use when collaborating in class or when working on homework. Ask students to take a screenshot of work created using the Math Whiteboard to include work being assessed. Microsoft Math Solver provides step-by-step directions for solving algebra, trigonometry, and calculus problems. The Math Solver also includes a graphing feature to visualize functions. Use this tool to find answers to specific problems, or use the practice link to find quizzes on different topics, including linear equations, inequalities, and more. If using the app, enter any problem manually or snap a picture of the problem using the device camera. Microsoft Math Solver supports many different languages, making it a valuable tool for use in all classrooms.
In the Classroom
This site is perfect for use on your interactive whiteboard or projector. Use the practice problems to engage students when learning new math concepts. Create a link on classroom computers for students to use when checking work. Share a link on your class website for students to use at home. Have students provide their attempts at problem-solving. Have students share where they were stuck or having problems in finding a correct answer. How do you prevent this from becoming an instant homework "cheat?" Always start with actual word problems, not equations, so students must first generate their own equations. Require students to "show their work" on paper as they solve, including explaining each step. Even if they are copying from the website, they are still copying down the explanations. This site includes a large selection of virtual manipulatives and activities to enhance math skills in various ways. Choose from 10-frames, color tiles, number lines, dice, and much more. In addition to the manipulatives, choose from several downloadable activity guides featuring each specific tool's directions and activities. If you have a website, use the embed code to add any of the manipulatives to your platform.
In the Classroom
If you teach elementary math, this site is a must-have to include with your bookmarked sites. Include manipulatives from this site in your blended learning and remote teaching lessons to allow students to explore and practice math content. Include a link to manipulatives and other student sites using Symbaloo, reviewed here, and share with students as a resource for practicing math concepts. Items to include might be instructional videos, online games, and other practice activities. Add manipulatives within a learning system such as Curipod, reviewed here to create a complete online lesson that has opportunities for students to share and discuss their learning. Enhance learning by asking students to share their findings by creating a screen recording using Free Screen Recorder Online, reviewed here. Ask students to conduct a math talk as a response to a teacher prompt after having the opportunity to explore and interact with the virtual manipulatives.

Access high-quality math and language arts resources on Open Up Resources. Register on the site to view and gain access to course materials. Select the grade level and choose the teacher, parent, or student materials. The math curriculum supports grades 6-8 and high school content; English language arts (ELA) is available in grades K-8. Content is divided into units and lessons and includes all materials except assessments. Provide additional information related to your school affiliation to gain access to available assessments. Other options include downloading resources as a print file or import into a Microsoft OneNote Class Notebook.
In the Classroom
Include this site to supplement your current ELA and math curriculum. Use the resources to differentiate instruction for gifted students in lower grades or as remediation for struggling students in older grades. Be sure to take advantage of the family materials providing explanations of math content and strategies for problem-solving. Use the student materials for differentiating instruction, as homework, or in remote learning situations. Have students share their math explanations, reading strategies and more with video explanations using a tool like Gravity, reviewed here. Gravity provides a tool for video responses to a question along with comments from peers. Extend learning by asking students to create and share their own math problems, along with suggestions for learning. Use a tool like Sway, reviewed here. Sway is a presentation tool that offers multimedia options, including text, video, and images.
