The Library of Congress created this "just the facts" timeline to introduce the people and events of the American suffrage movement. There are links to archival images of many of the personalities. Great for sorting out who did what, and when.
In the Classroom
Separate students into partners, and have the kids select what the think are the 5 most important events in the history of women's suffrage. For added interest, you could have the students illustrate the events that they selected. You must be registered and logged in to add items to your favorites.
