Bookmark this site for your science and gifted students as a great resource for information about prevalent diseases for papers and projects. Introduce this site to students on an interactive whiteboard or with a projector. Then divide students into pairs or small groups and have them choose a topic to research. Have students take online notes using a tool like Memo Notepad, reviewed here; tell students to be sure to save the URL to share their notes and questions with you and their peers. Next challenge students to create an interactive poster using Genial.ly, reviewed here. Where they can insert maps, surveys, video, audio, and more.
