MirrorTalk uses AI as a partner to create and share meaningful opportunities for cognitive and emotional reflection in any classroom. It is also an assessment tool that can help develop continuing learning growth. The AI features thoughtful questions that guide participants through a reflective process using personalized prompts. After creating an account, create a group by adding a group name and grade level, and define how students access the activity. Access options include student login, name only without email, or open access without a name; however, video is required. Additional options offer video or audio and presentation in English or Spanish. Set up reflections by adding your objective and the type of focus to use, such as depth of knowledge, problem-solving, and others. Share the prompts with students using the assignment link. As students respond, your dashboard on MirrorTalk updates with charts that provide feedback on student responses and suggestions for supporting each student in their learning process.

Reflect is a well-being app that uses check-ins to support connections in learning communities and promote a culture of self-awareness and empathy. Reflect is built into Teams education accounts and requires signing in with a valid school account to use within Google Classroom, Canvas, and other Learning Management Systems. Some available activities include brain breaks, guided meditation, and 2-minute stretching routines.
In the Classroom
Use Reflect as part of your classroom social and emotional support activities. Create a free personal account, then follow the directions to download iorad's browser extension or desktop application to your computer. Create a tutorial by selecting the "new capture" link and following the directions to begin recording from your chosen tab. Demonstrate the procedure and stop recording when finished. iorad automatically creates the tutorial and offers options to edit the contents before completing the publishing process. Share completed tutorials using the links or embed code provided.

The number of classroom uses for this tool is countless! Use iorad to create guides for students to log in to software, games, and computer programs. In addition, you can easily interact with custom chatbots or create your custom chatbot with a simple prompt. Create your free account to begin, then use the settings to set a default bot. Free plans offer 3000 points daily, sufficient for participating in several conversations, creating images, and more.

Using AI generators helps save time and increase productivity; Poe saves even more time by making it easy to compare output from several AI generators in one place. Use this resource to create quizzes, rubrics, lesson plans, and more. Many of the included resources offer the option to add files and increase productivity further by attaching a worksheet and asking it to modify the content to differentiate learning or to suggest ideas for presenting the content in a different format. Teachable Machine is a Google AI experimental project that allows you to create learning machine models without coding knowledge. Use images, sounds, and poses to build models that classify and sort information. Explore the tutorials to learn how to create a learning machine and view examples of use, such as making a model to determine the ripeness of a banana, detect different sounds you create, and recognize the tilt of a head. Also included are lessons for K-12 classrooms that use Teaching Machines as part of lessons in AI and ethics and Dancing with AI. Start your project by choosing the type of project to create, then follow the steps to add samples to use in training your model. Complete and save your project, then share it with a link or other options available through Teachable Machine.

Free accounts include 400 AI credits and Gamma's basic image models, enough to create several presentations.

The Big Loop Podcast is an anthology series of otherworldly stories from around the globe. Each season is divided into six episodes featuring strange "stories of finite beings in an infinite universe." Episodes typically run thirty to forty minutes long. Visit the teachers' resource section to download a teaching unit that helps to develop a collaborative storytelling environment in classrooms. Podcasts are available online and on most well-known podcast players.
In the Classroom
Take advantage of this site's podcasts and teaching units to engage students in many different ways. For example, to support students' listening skills, ask them to analyze podcast episodes and then discuss storytelling elements such as plot and character development.
