You get a link to edit your poll, a link to send to voters, and a link to view results. Advanced poll options include preventing multiple votes from the same participant and receiving a notification when a new vote is submitted.

Create curiosity, activate prior knowledge, and generate discussion before introducing a new topic or concept; create a poll with questions about the upcoming lesson. To deliver this mission, Girlstart offers many opportunities to bring STEM activities to girls through programs and camps, conferences, community education outreach, and hands-on activities and guides for educators to use in their classrooms. The downloadable hands-on activities include a colorful work page and a list of inexpensive and easy-to-find materials needed to complete each project. Additional resources include weekly activities, STEM Halloween ideas, and a calendar with thirty-one DeSTEMber ideas to promote the idea that STEM is everywhere.

What is a Statistical Question is a standards-based teacher's guide for providing lessons to instruct students on creating and identifying statistical questions. During the activity, students determine if the questions are statistical or not and then use the provided Radio Set Ownership Map and the United States Map for students to explore statistical questions and their features. During the final portion of the lesson, students write statistical questions based on data learned in the previous activity.
In the Classroom
Take advantage of this free lesson plan and the included ideas to introduce and reinforce the concept of statistical questions to your students. Integrate statistical questions with your lessons using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheets to visualize and analyze data. Ask students to share their data using Livegap Charts, reviewed here to view the information in many different formats, including line graphs, bar charts, infographics, and much more. Extend learning by asking students to become statisticians by creating questions, gathering data, and sharing their analyses with peers. Use Microsoft Forms or Google Forms for students to collect data to begin their investigation.

Stylar is an image and design tool incorporating AI to enhance and edit images. It allows members to transform photos using any of the included filters, combine images using AI, easily remove objects, and more. Begin by creating an account using your email or logging in with a Google account. Edit images by uploading a photo from your device and choosing from the many editing tools and filters provided. Select "Create a new project" to create images from text, insert objects, and alter images using the provided tools. When finished, images are available in your history and to download. The free plan offers 30 credits/day (resets daily), three auto prompts daily, and five text-to-image and image-to-image features per day.

Stylar is perfect for many classroom uses and an excellent resource for you and your students. Use the image tools to remove unwanted objects from classroom photos, create profile images of students for student projects, or create AI images for creative writing projects.
