Otter.ai is an AI-based tool that becomes your meeting assistant by recording meeting transcripts and summarizing the content. Use Otter.ai within Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet to automatically write and share notes with other team members. Sign up with your email, then follow the prompts to allow Otter.ai to sync with your work calendar to notify others of upcoming meetings and ask for authorization to join meetings. Free plans offer 300 transcription minutes per month, 30 minutes per conversation, and up to five workspace members.
In the Classroom
Use Otter.ai to record and review web-based meetings, such as parent/teacher conferences and staff presentations. After conferences, use the summarizing tool to share and confirm discussions of meeting goals and verify individual responses for the follow-up action steps. Reflect is a well-being app that uses check-ins to support connections in learning communities and promote a culture of self-awareness and empathy. Reflect is built into Teams education accounts and requires signing in with a valid school account to use within Google Classroom, Canvas, and other Learning Management Systems. Some available activities include brain breaks, guided meditation, and 2-minute stretching routines.
In the Classroom
Use Reflect as part of your classroom social and emotional support activities. For elementary classrooms, include daily check-ins, provide learning opportunities to encourage the use of emotional vocabulary, and incorporate reflections as part of discussions of characters and their emotions when reading stories and books. In middle school, include Reflect as part of weekly check-ins for emotional support, facilitate group discussions based upon feedback from check-ins, or use Reflect's tools to encourage students to set personal and academic goals. Choosing the best AI chatbot can be daunting. Poe helps out by making chat and generating content accessible using various AI-powered tools. Use Poe to interact with popular chatbots such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others in one location. In addition, you can easily interact with custom chatbots or create your custom chatbot with a simple prompt. Create your free account to begin, then use the settings to set a default bot. Free plans offer 3000 points daily, sufficient for participating in several conversations, creating images, and more.
In the Classroom
Using AI generators helps save time and increase productivity; Poe saves even more time by making it easy to compare output from several AI generators in one place. Use this resource to create quizzes, rubrics, lesson plans, and more. Many of the included resources offer the option to add files and increase productivity further by attaching a worksheet and asking it to modify the content to differentiate learning or to suggest ideas for presenting the content in a different format. Be sure to ask for information as precisely as possible by including grade-level information, the subject you teach, content standards and teaching objectives, and options for differentiating instruction. Math teachers can ask chatbots to explain the content differently or ask for ideas on applying math topics to everyday life. In social studies or science, ask to generate a vocabulary list or create a story based on your lessons incorporating essential vocabulary terms. PDF Redactor is a downloadable program for Windows that allows users to redact (black out) and remove content from PDF documents. Follow the link to download and install the application on your device. Once installed, select open and choose the file to modify. Use the redact tool, then select and drag a box across the text or information to edit. Follow the same procedure using the delete tool to remove content from your document. Other options allow you to add text and images to the PDF and change the default color of redacted text boxes from black to a new color of your choice.
In the Classroom
Use the PDF Redactor to remove identifying information such as names, emails, or student id numbers from shared documents. For example, when sharing exemplars of work with students or during parent/teacher conferences, use the redactor to remove names from the work examples. If using Word documents, use a file conversion tool such as PDF Mixer, < a href="/single.cfm?id=19384">reviewed here, to convert the document to a PDF file to use with the PDF Redactor.
This resource requires PDF reader software like Adobe Acrobat.

Raise is the fundraising portion of the site; use this area to share your fundraising needs with forms, campaigns, and events. Raise also offers opportunities for social engagement through live streaming and virtual events. Track is where users manage donations, contacts, and view donor timelines. Boost awareness and interest in fundraising needs using Engage. Use Engage to send customized messages to donor groups, including images, videos, and text.
