Use your AI prompting skills to find how closely you can match an image. Every thirty minutes, a new image appears, and users have up to one hundred characters to match the image as closely as possible, using up to one hundred characters in the prompt. After generating the image, Twin Pics provides a percentage indicating the similarity between the original and the generated image. Scroll down the page to view the current leaderboard of user-generated images.
In the Classroom
Understanding how to write effective prompts using generative AI is an important skill, and Twin Pics is an engaging way to learn how to create a short prompt to create images. Use this site as a five-minute time filler to engage students in descriptive writing activities. If students don't have individual access to the site, ask them to write a 100-character prompt, then select a random prompt to view together as a class. Use this site as a model for demonstrating how to write a prompt to create an image, then use Image Creator by Designer, reviewed here to extend learning by creating images and asking students to try to replicate your design. Vnote uses AI to create documents using your ideas. To begin, create an account and record a description of the document you want to develop and the details you want to include. Vnote will provide prompts for additional information if needed. After creating the document, use additional AI features to edit and improve the output, such as identifying the main idea, describing changes, or changing the document type. When finished, share the document with the included shareable link. Free accounts allow you to create up to five documents monthly.

Use Vnote to create documents quickly for many classroom purposes. For example, develop outlines to share with students as study guides for upcoming lessons. This tool is beneficial when working with multilingual learners and students who need additional classroom support. Ask Vnote to create an outline with basic parts of speech and examples for multilingual students to keep handy in a notebook or create a document for the entire class with important information about your Civil War unit, then use the AI editing features to convert the document to a different language to make it accessible to all students. Create a Vnote document at the end of a lesson that includes highlights of information taught, then post the document on your class learning management system for students to access and review. Share Vnote with students to create study guides highlighting essential details and information to prepare for upcoming assessments. Conker.ai is an online platform that can help teachers create online quizzes for students of all grades. Teachers can easily customize quizzes based on the topic, the number of questions, and the difficulty level. Questions can be multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, or a combination of both. Quizzes can be completed online using an access code or exported to a Google form. First, you must create an account with Google, which requires you to give access to your Google Drive.
In the Classroom
Teachers can input relevant topics or subjects for their students, select a suitable grade level, and specify the number of questions needed. Many different output languages make this an excellent resource for world language teachers. For example, enter a short reading passage of up to 1,200 words and generate questions from the selection in just a few minutes! Speechify uses AI to convert text to speech and works in many different formats, including web pages, PDF documents, Microsoft Word, emails, and texts. The free plan offers a choice of ten voices and allows you limited options for controlling text speed. Register to create an account; when you reach the page that asks for billing information, do not add this information. Here is how you can get the site for free. Without clicking the page closed, return to the home page by opening a new window and clicking on "Speechify" in the title of this review. You will see a link to the web app materialize; click that, and your account dashboard will appear. Follow the directions to select a document or web page. After the information loads, click play on any text portion to listen. Options on the left side of the page allow you to change voices, adjust the speed, and change options for the page's appearance, including highlighting, scrolling, and dark mode.

Use Speechify as a helpful tool to increase reading comprehension, support English language learners, and help students with dyslexia and other special needs. Upload tests, worksheets, and other assessment documents to support students who have materials read to them. Share Speechify with parents and students for use at home. When sharing Speechify, consider making a short tutorial video using Free Screen Recorder Online, reviewed here to demonstrate how to create a free account, where to find the dashboard, and how to upload and view reading materials.

Choose from any of the crafts to create Mother's Day gifts. While the focus is Mother's Day, these crafts can be utilized in any subject area as a way for students to demonstrate their knowledge. Use Book Creator, reviewed here, to have students create interactive e-books that include stories, poems, and crafts for Mother's Day. You can then share the e-books with families.
